"Really easy to use, silent, I just think the water tank design is not practical. It should have a lid on top or so, instead of opening from the middle. It's hard to keep the water in and there're always leaks when you open it to pour more water. Definitely can improve. Other than that, great machine."

"Is it normal for the device to get a bit warm even it was not being used? The tubing warms up in the first few minutes and then does not seem to continue to warm up, is it normal?"

Travel Useless

"I discussed going overseas for 2 months and no one told me you can't change time zones. Data useless because it the time zone in Europe and resets halfway through the night. I thought a company who can't allow for time zone changes may not have a machine that is effective."

Resmed New Airsense 11

"I bought a similar one last month for my YK home. Was straight forward and no setting up issue with pressure set at 4. 0 and suto switch off. This one I got for sydney here have issue with the pressure and have to reset n the water container seems loose n leakage occur . Pls advise is it defective as compared to the same one sent to uk is a bliss with no issue all set up ready to use"

You will notice the noice

"You will notice the noice but will also get use of it soon. The noise come from 2 parts, the mask and the machine. Once you used this it's hard to live without it. So function wise, it works really well. You will feel the difference in the morning. but I have to mention something I don't like. When you use the machine for more than 1 week, the air smells for the first 2 breaths of the night. After the first 2 breaths, you will get used to it and won't notice anything. I clean the tube with soap once a week; wipe the mask, and empty the tank once a day, but still have the smell. Even if I just washed the tube in the morning. I figure it was the machine, not the tube or mask. (I changed to a new mask, and it started to smell after 3 days, when the new mask's smell faded. Potentially because I was ill when I was using the machine, and when I was coughing, the air went back to the machine. I talked to one of the staff in the store; they don't seem to care enough, simply say it's the mask (which is not; a new mask has its new rubbery smell; when that smell is gone, you can smell the bad smell every day) Don't get me wrong, compared to the function of breathing freely, the machine is still good enough for its price and service"

I’m not convinced

"This version has its advantages over the previous model. However, the cracking and popping due to water/moisture up in the tube is frustrating. I didn’t have this issue with the previous model. It’s extremely frustrating during the middle of the night having to get up and try to remove the water /moisture build up in the tube. It’s taken almost 3months to try and find a set up that’s comfortable and doesn’t induce the crackling/popping sound."

Is there an AirSense 11 for her?

We have incorporated within the AirSense 11 device, the Autoset for Her algorithm. 

How to increase air pressure on the ResMed AirSense 11?

To change the pressure settings on the AirSense 11, contact our sleep coach for support. Please refer to the user guide or our Knowledge Hub for information on changing pressures. Note that we do not recommend changing this pressure as it is adjusted to your breathing algorithm. 

How to turn off my ResMed AirSense 11?

To turn on and off your AirSense 11, simply touch the start/stop button located on the top of the machine. For more information on how to turn on/off your AirSense 11 refer to our Knowledge Hub.

How to factory reset ResMed AirSense 11?

We do not recommend factory resetting your device. If you need help adjusting your CPAP machine settings, it's best to reach out to your doctor or provider.  Please refer to the clinical guide or our Knowledge Hub on how to reset the device.

Can I use my ResMed AirSense 11 without water?

There are two ways to use the AirSense 11 without water:  

Humidifier tub option:   

  1. Insert an empty tub into your CPAP machine. 
  2. Turn off humidification in the "My Options" settings. 

  

Side cover option:  

  1. Insert the side cover instead of the humidifier to disable humidification. 

How to factory rest the ResMed AirSense 11?

You can reset the ResMed AirSense 10 to its default factory settings by following these simple steps: 

1. From the Clinical Home screen, press” Settings”. 

2. Move down the menu to find “Configuration” options. 

3. Tap “Restore Default”. 

4. Tap “OK “to confirm or “CANCEL“ to return to the previous screen. 

  

We do not recommend to factory reset your AirSense 11 as it will delete all your CPAP therapy history. Contact our Customer Service Team for assistance with your machine.
