"I need to replace these regularly as the air holes develop a black deposit. The deposit only occurs within the circle area the air travels through. I have to say I find it perturbing as I don't know what it is. At 12. 95 a piece, it prompts me to wonder whether a part may be produced whereby you can replace the filter material and retain the rigid plastic body."

"It fits in the pillow very well, however I can not pull apart to clean thoroughly. As a filter, I'd expect to be able to do this. It gets fouled with mould after a week or so. Frustrating because they are a necessary item for the pillow to work properly. It works but becomes very costly to keep replacing."
